Turnover in sales is very, very high. Staffing sales is a great way to learn sales skills if it doesn't make you go insane. My experience with Kelly Scientific was horrible on a local level in Minnesota. I reported to a "Team Lead" who drew the territory lines with a skew in his favor. He also liked to pit team members against each other and created drama. He would say one thing one day and then another a different day. I have no idea how the man has this job - I've since met 3 other people who had the exact same experience as me and now we're all friends. With the number of people in the Twin Cities, do the math on the odds of the four of us having an experience so bad that it brought us together. Upper management did nothing to help when I asked them to. I think they're so focused on numbers they just don't care - add to that it seems people advance in the company simply by not quitting, regardless of leadership skills - or lack thereof in my "leader's" case. It's a dumpster fire.
