Pros
1) Interview process; the process was very smooth, communication was impeccable. I knew exactly where I was in the process, what the next steps were super clear. First interview was with the recruiter, the conversation was very structured, she knew a lot about the role and had a clear understanding of what the team was looking from a skill and cultural perspective. Similarly, interviewing with the hiring team, they knew what the role needed and was communicated clearly. 2) Onboarding process; communication was clear, being a remote employee - I knew when to expect the equipment and how the first couple of days would go. My manager was always open to answering questions and helping answering questions or finding someone else that could help. 3) Overall; Kemper is a good company with very intelligent people, going in the right direction from at least the technology perspective, compensation is fair, and benefits are on par if not better than industry standards.
Cons
There could be a some small changes to the onboarding process to make it smoother for remote employees.
