Pros

Free lunch on Saturday's and Sundays off. Sometimes you will get a bonus check from the company but not all the time.

Cons

No room for growth. Someone either has to die, quit, or get fired for anyone else to move up and become a technician. Barely over minimum wage and they pay you flat rate as well but most of the work there is free labor. There is no room for mistakes without you getting in trouble.

Ken Garff Automotive Group Response
10y
We appreciate the opportunity to respond. Right now in our industry there is quite simply a shortage for good technicians. We are actively building programs to recruit and retain great talent. It is unfortunate that this employee feels like growth was not available. That is simply not the case in most dealerships. Technicians are paid on a flag rate. This allows them to, in many cases, earn more through efficiency than if they were simply hourly. We welcome any great technician to join our team. We need you!

Pros

Ken Garff provides a good opportunity to get your foot in the door in customer service or a call center environment . If you have previous experience, the learning curve will be much shorter than other candidates. They provided structured training along with a nesting period. You will be assigned a team leader and a team, who will make you feel supported and hear. Overall, a good experience and there are many seasoned agents across the teams that will be able to answer your questions or assist you if you need it.

Cons

Insurance costs could be a bit pricey.
