High risks, low reward - Auto Parts Driver Ken Garff Automotive Group Employee Review

Pros

It's a fairly easy job with the benefit of listening to audio books, podcasts, and music while driving everywhere in the Salt Lake valley. Dealing with customers is quite strait forward as all you need to do is drop off the part and collect payment. Some customers may request something like matching up the part when you return to the dealer. Overall, it's a fairly nice job to have for these reasons.

Cons

Definitely not a career worthy job unless you want to be underpaid. I personally took on extra rolls in the times that I wasn't driving to no benefit. They only ever made up excuses why they shouldn't give me a raise or even bonus money. They don't value the employee in that position because they are easily replaceable. There is a age discrimination that happens at this company as well.

Pros

Ken Garff provides a good opportunity to get your foot in the door in customer service or a call center environment . If you have previous experience, the learning curve will be much shorter than other candidates. They provided structured training along with a nesting period. You will be assigned a team leader and a team, who will make you feel supported and hear. Overall, a good experience and there are many seasoned agents across the teams that will be able to answer your questions or assist you if you need it.

Cons

Insurance costs could be a bit pricey.
