Pros
Staff is friendly, Management is supportive but fickle
Cons
Disorganized, unclear growth plan, goals changed frequently. They'll recruit you with phrases like "established business with over 50 years in the industry" What they DON'T tell you is that the position is essentially a telemarketing role until you bring in enough business to meet the monthly profit margin goals. Since I started almost 50% of the staff has either been fired or have quit do to failure to meet these goals. Almost everyone is on some sort of action plan for failure to bring in enough new business, and most of those that are left are looking for other jobs, including some of the team leaders. This is a warehousing company with a transportation division, and it shows their main expertise is warehousing. If you're looking for work in transportation, there are plenty of actual transportation companies in this area to look at, who have established business and committed freight.
