Pros
Can't think of any right now. Glassdoor needs to have an "overall rating" that reflects a zero or negative rating. The only reason that I gave Kenco a 1 star overall rating review is because there is not a zero or negative on the scale.
Cons
Worked as a contractor at the P&G plant in Bear River City Utah for 8 1/2 yrs. The 1st 7 1/2 yrs the contract was held by Exel, which was a DHL owned company. After having the contract with P&G for 7 yrs Exel lost the contract to Kenco and it all went downhill from there. At that time I was the longest contracted tenure employee on site. I had earned up to 3 wks. of vacation time among other things. Kenco was awarded the new contract and all of the employees that stayed had to all re-interview for the current jobs that we had all been working for the last several yrs. Kenco did however bump everyone's pay up, which everyone thought was fantastic until we all discovered the REAL REASON for the everyone's pay increase. Our medical benefits INCREASED BY ALMOST 5 TIMES MORE THAN the previous company Exel. After figuring out the so called " pay increase" versus the ASTRONMICAL INCREASE in medical benefits, I personally was going to be earning .13 cents less per hour than what I had been making with previously with Exel. I also went from having 3 wks of paid vacation time to ZERO paid vacation time overnight. I tried talking with management and the HR dept. of Kenco and they treated me as if I was wasting their time and they had no time for me, needless to say after 8/12 yrs on site I quit and found a different job.. long story short, I WOULD NEVER EVER recommend anyone to go to work for this company.
