The responsibilities of my position changed dramatically in the first couple of months that I worked for Kennedy Care and I felt like at times there was an unrealistic idea of what one person could feasibly do. I spent just as many hours, if not more sometimes, outside of the office doing my job as I did in the office and the compensation for that was not in the realm of the effort I put in. I felt like I was always "on call" even when I was not actually on call which made it difficult for me to balance real-life with the job.
I think the management definitely has good hearts and never intended to work any of us to exhaustion, but I sometimes felt like they didn't take a close enough look at the effects the workloads were having on us because all they were seeing was the bottom line.
