Pros

Health benefits to be exact.

Cons

The management is disorganized; they seem uncertain about their decisions and tend to opt for safe choices. They make quick decisions without thorough consideration, resulting in temporary 'band-aid' solutions that becomes a current process. Communication is slow, which hampers our workflow, especially since most of the team is new. They also lack platforms for collaboration. We're under pressure to operate immediately, while there are unresolved issues. The company lacks a distinct identity. They often mentioned the company startup status to justify challenges and feelings of overwhelm. In addition, reassurances are not accompanied by concrete actions. We're understaffed and overworked, juggling numerous tasks and projects initiated by management. They always set up calls without providing complete context as to why a meeting is needed, leaving you surprised when they want you to present or discuss something. They haven't hired competent leaders; instead, they've opted to hire contractors to handle the processes for them, yet they're not effectively managing their people.

Pros

Writing this pains me because my time at Kenvue and previously JNJ was actually quite good. My team was incredible and filled with a lot of dedicated, hard-working colleagues that were ready to collaborate and uphold a system of values and standards. Kenvue itself had great benefits and all and all, I had a wonderful boss, whom is no longer with the company, who allowed me to have a great work-life balance. Unfortunately Kenvue decided those values and knowledge replaceable, and laid off our entire team.

Cons

Kenvue does NOT value employees, point blank. They only value dollar signs and what they can get out of you. They preach work-life balance and owner mindset, and a lot of other corporate garbage but ultimately do not uphold the practices they preach. It's a shame because they let go of a lot of people who actually cared deeply about the products and problem-solving to provide the best care to consumers.
