Pros
it was close to home, the products were decent & most of the people were nice to work with. There is always positions open due to the amount of position shifting or people leaving, so if you want to stick it out you could move up faster here then elsewhere
Cons
Executive seemed to have no clear direction. The words on our value statement did not line up with what I saw on a daily basis. They have a discretionary bonus fund, and most of the managers simply kept it for themselves instead of sharing with the team that helped the branch meet or exceed the goals. Some people who could no longer do their job competently were not removed from positions, even after numerous complaints from co-workers & customers. Instead of removing someone from the company who had a record of racially insensitive remarks, they moved that person to the part of town populated with the people she spoke badly about. the commitment to a business program is milk toast. Meaning that there is no commitment. The trend is to start a small business program and keep it for 1 - 1.5 years and then let it go, they will go without that program for about 3 -4 years and start it again for another 1 - 1.5 years and continue the cycle.
