Pros
Most colleagues were dedicated to the company
Cons
Unfortunately, the company is not dedicated to their workforce. There was a core of competent management who started on the ground floor when there was only a single client. In a few short years they went from one client and four placement specialists to 100+ serving some 40 clients and 150+ degree programs. A couple months ago, most of that management who built the company from the ground up were generously rewarded by being sacked -- just months after the company assured everyone there would be no more layoffs in the foreseeable future. Since then it has been complete chaos at the company. Morale is through the floor. Nothing gets done because the remaining management don't even know what their job description is so they have no idea what to tell their charges. People are jumping ship at the first opportunity. Some are even jumping without a life jacket, hoping there will be one floating out at sea for them, that's how desperate they were to get out. Thankfully my life raft showed up and I'm out of here.
