Pros

I've worked in corporate settings across the spectrum. Several large corporations, started several companies and have been a direct contributor, middle manager and leader in multiple groups and organizations in some of the most challenging and dynamic environments in business. With that said, this is one of the best work environments I have ever experienced. You have an opportunity to learn, experiment and take risks to deliver results. My managers were supportive and fun and avoided common pitfalls like micromanagement and panic when you work in a dynamic and tough environment. Despite being a veteran of digital marketing, publishing and various assignments I still had the opportunity to learn and grow while at Keypath. Unlike many large companies that try to pry their people into cookie cutter outfits(suits, business casual, etc) Keypath allows you to wear comfortable clothes and encourages a fun environment with Ping Pong, video games and other benefits. I'm sad I didn't find an environment like this earlier in my career. This is not a con just a fact: Keypath is in a changing industry but if you work in digital in any fashion you are used to change and excelling in a dynamic and challenging environment and so I did not find this environment to be any more challenging than any of my other digital marketing assignments. In fact many of my previous jobs were much tougher and lacked the fun, creative environment offered at Keypath.

Cons

Cons: Not really any. If you are up for challenges in a dynamic and creative environment then you will thrive. If you want to coast or perform routine work without change then this would not be a good fit.

Thank you for your comments and thoughts. I believe you have illustrated very nicely how the company is run, the culture, and the opportunities to grow in ones career. As I have said many times the EDU industry is in transition but I feel we have the amazing staff to capture the opportunities of tomorrow. Keep up the good work and thanks for what you do for Keypath.

Pros

Strong remote‑first culture, which I appreciated.

Cons

I was one week into the job when my manager informed me that my pre‑planned vacation would not be approved. This trip was booked and fully paid for a year in advance, and it was meant to celebrate several major milestones in my life: my graduation, my 30th birthday, and my anniversary. Canceling was not an option without losing several thousands of dollars. During this conversation, I was told that new hires are only allowed to take two days off at a time. This policy was never mentioned during the hiring process, and I could not find it anywhere in my new‑hire paperwork. For a company that emphasizes work‑life balance and well‑being, the lack of flexibility was surprising and disappointing. Instead of working with me on a reasonable solution, they chose to deny the request entirely. As a result, I resigned. It’s unfortunate that the company preferred to restart the hiring process rather than allow one pre‑planned vacation. I do not recommend accepting a job at this company if you have any upcoming travel or personal commitments.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re sorry this situation was disappointing, particularly given how meaningful this trip was. PTO guidelines, including expectations for new hires, are reviewed during onboarding, and we encourage early discussion of any pre‑planned commitments. We appreciate the feedback and wish you all the best going forward
