Pros

Kforce will make significant technological investments in making recruiting easier and more efficient. We have a really nice office and give a great first impression to prospects. I feel very proud when I bring in customers or guest into our Tampa office. Employees are given ample training and fair due diligence when it comes to corrective actions. Casual working environment and plenty of corporate activities. Good pay for what we do and I would assume it's in the upper-tier I'm comparison to what other staffing companies offer. Great opportunities for advancement. We have several young leaders who were breed within our walls.

Cons

Often at times if you need something done it has to go through several departments, countless emails, etc. Extreme cost-saving methods "Green" have been implemented that makes the company look "cheap" for employee needs. For instance, we no longer have paper cups and have to wash out a cheaply made Chinese tumbler every day. We only have about 20 small paper plates at a time per floor. The paper towel roll moves very slow now making people use less paper towels. Very thin toilet paper is now on the supply list as well and the faucets are very low in pressure often causing a log-jam at the sink to wash out our Chinese cups. Yes, many may view these as small issues but they have been a concern with many employees. Benefits also continue to be substandard but the pay is good so many of us compromise. 401K plan isn't the best with it matching off employee contribution and not salary so it doesn't encourage people to invest for their future.

Pros

Decent salary base, probably could be a really good paying job if the job market was better

Cons

Definitely a typical, corporate sales culture where you are defined by your metrics and your metrics only. They are money grabbers, and their commission structure isn't that great. After 2 years you lose 50% of your commission from contractors and they eliminated early release days before holidays. My office started becoming a "bro culture" and the leader was clearly trying to act like "one of the guys" with the males in the office. If your market is slow with reqs, they expect you to reach out to other offices for subs which is hard to do when other offices favor their own teams' recruiters. They'll likely give you a picked over req or one not close to the money that their own team didn't want to work on. I had to reach out to other offices daily to basically beg for a req to work on to hit my metrics. To add to it, the PTO structure for salaried employees is not how they described it when I joined. 17 PTO days total (including sick/personal time btw) and it is actually accrued throughout the year. I had to use PTO for sick time and a vacation, so when I left I had to write them a check for my balance! Talk about a way to really give someone the boot when they're on their way out the door.
