zero flexibility with work hours- you show up two minutes late and the owner is messaging your boss to write you up or threaten your job cheap- raises are nonexistent and despite great performance reviews, even getting cost of living increases is challenging upward mobility limited- they are growing but it's not the upper level positions they are adding upper level management is pretty out of touch with what people like in a job in terms of work life balance- which is interesting considering it's family owned and the services the franchisees offer are to families with small children. vacation time is limited- especially if you have not been with the organization very long
