Pros
Family oriented Decent pay and great opportunities for apprentices Great training opportunities Good benefits Possibility for spot bonuses(If you bend over backwards for the company)
Cons
Kimbel has become more of a corporate company with a major disconnect between field and office employees. Most construction jobs are laid back. Don’t work for kimbel if that’s what your looking for. Stress levels are through the roof. Profitability seems to be the highest concern among higher ups even though it will never be admitted. Almost all workers are run like workhorses until they can’t handle it anymore. Rises in responsibility are not matched properly by raising pay. If you land a job with kimbel, I recommend getting your license and finding a better paying company with a better work environment.
