Pros

Design of hotels are unique, work with some unique characters, some managers are cool, there used to be a lot more Pros, but those have been diminishing more and more each year

Cons

Since IHG purchased Kimpton the benefits of working for Kimpton have been on a decline. Health insurance benefits for managers disappeared. The pay is less than other companies. The restrictions and red tape to implement strategies have gotten impossible to navigate. IT can’t keep systems online, systems that are used are sooo behind the times. This is not the company I started working for YEARS ago

Boutique, sleek and stylish hotel group for hospitality professionals that want to explore finer dining without the intensity.

Cons

Long hours, carpal tunnel syndrome, potential breakfast shifts, inescapable conversations with hotel guests.
