Middle management and pay structures. Managers don’t really support you or care about your career development. There is little to no feedback throughout the year, even when asking for it, then at EOY reviews you may get a one sentence blurb on how your teammates thought you did this year. Middle management also has nothing to do with day to day activities so the only information they are getting is from the teams you’re working with and that’s how promotions are decided. The career path is so unclear and whenever asked about how to rise up you are given are so extremely vague. The pay used to be pretty ok in comparison to others in the industry, but now is far below.
