Pros

Remote work (though leadership seems intent on a return to office)

Cons

Echoing other reviews, the recent exodus of Kinecta's marketing department is the result of unfathomably horrific leadership. Marketing employees (working through a pandemic, no less) have been subjected to the gamut of actively harmful workplace conditions: long hours, work overload, top-down decision making, closed feedback loops, stress, humiliation, the list goes on. Some of these issues seem to be chronic and perpetuated by middle management; however, the CMO hired on in 2021 brought things to a fever pitch. It was the initial opinion of many in the marketing department that he was hired to clean house, as he quickly made things so untenable that most marketing employees elected to leave Kinecta as immediately as possible, despite real costs to their careers, stability, and families. I genuinely fear for the well-being of those in the marketing department who have joined or stayed on and caution others to avoid it if possible. HR is well-versed in the reasons so many have quit in such a short period of time, but ultimately no actions are being taken by leadership to correct course. Given the costs of turnover and potential legal recourse they could face, one wonders why. That said, the CEO's oft-unhinged Friday memos don't exactly project an image of a competent or visionary leader. As an aside, please be aware that Kinecta HR pushes hard internally to maintain and manipulate its "Great Place to Work" rating. Most of the reviews I see on this website do not reflect my experience or the experiences of my colleagues across several departments.

Pros

Working for Kinecta in my current position has been an amazing experience. I have the opportunity to work remotely and with many wonderful people. I've had the opportunity to grow and learn and contribute the success of my company with many wonderful incentives. I recently reached my 5-year anniversary and was awarded many beautiful gifts including an Ice Cream Maker I was able to choose. What fun this company is!

Cons

There are no cons that I see.

Pros

Culture and community involvement that’s about it

Cons

Favoritism has become ridiculous. Promotions are no longer based on job performance, work ethic, or leadership — they’re based on who you know. It’s sad and disappointing to see Kinecta come to this. Employees who work hard and consistently deliver results deserve equal opportunity and recognition, not to be overlooked because they aren’t part of the “right” circle.
