      Pros

      Working with children is really fun. The county benefits are amazing. You have a pension which almost no one has anymore.

      Cons

      You are just a body to fill a spot in a schedule. No consistency in management and there is an underlying feeling that no one has your back especially management. There is a ridiculous amount of mandatory overtime that no one can seem to resolve. If you’re willing to sacrifice your personal life, then this is the job for you!

      Pros

      Came to Rail from another division in the county, so much better than certain customer facing divisions. Work like balance and hybrid model are great. Lots of room for advancement in the admin world if you want it.

      Cons

      Can feel like you’re being micro managed or watched from the top at times but middle management is usually good at mitigating this.
