Pros

Kleinfelder continues to evolve and has a bright future. The current senior leadership team is progressive, focused on employees, and enables staff to perform at their highest level. Training opportunities and benefits also improve each year. Our CEO is approachable and makes many office visits to stay in touch with staff.

Cons

From an information technology standpoint, Kleinfelder does a great job at providing staff with the latest software platforms and equipment. Challenges occur when it comes to training on the new platforms, which rarely occurs. This often leads to a loss of time (and money).

Gained a lot of experience in the field Thorough onboarding and training Covered a required certification process Will help immensely for my future Overall, friendly and helpful employees

Cons

6:30 a.m. start time was a tough adjustment, but I ultimately got used to it. I did cry at the end of my time there, because I knew I would miss the people.

Due to a lack of management accountability and organizational structure, employees often experience a high degree of autonomy, as there is limited oversight of day-to-day activities.

Cons

The company has experienced substantial changes in executive C-Suite leadership, and current management appears disconnected from the realities of supporting and engaging employees effectively. Ongoing organizational restructuring makes it nearly impossible to build a consistent career development plan within a given role.
