Pros

Genuinely nice ppl work here Will hire you with no CSM experience, they allow you to learn on the job many companies won't do that. They promote fairly fast which is cool.

Cons

VERY high turnover, 4 ppl from my class alone quit within 6 months, and others I know are currently looking for other roles. Low pay, below market average. The biggest con is the workload. To get all your work done, you have to come in earlier or leave later. It's not like management will ask you to stay late, but you will get pulled aside and asked why certain things aren't done, so you stay late to avoid those conversations. I realized I was working for less pay, so I left. And since its salary and no overtime pay, you are essentially working for free. I understand maybe having to stay late a few times a quarter, but once it's constant, that's an issue for me. I don't think the company intentionally overworks CSM'S I believe the constant turnover is the issue for why we had so many accounts. When someone leaves they spread those accounts onto the team, which means more clients to handle.

KnowBe4 Response

We are happy to hear that you enjoyed several aspects of KnowBe4, such as your coworkers. However, we’d like to address a few of your concerns. Current industry standards show that our CSMs manage an average number of clients for an organization our size. Additionally, we continue to invest in headcount across the business with total headcount increasing by about 35% versus the end of Q1 2021, which drove the vast majority of our operating expense increases. We hope you find an organization that is the right fit for you!

Pros

not many pros left with the current leadership and direction, but it's still a good place to work to learn about the industry and gain skills

Cons

executive leadership and the equity ownership have taken this company to the gutter sadly, there isn't any culture left and the product keeps getting worse with only more hype about how they're on top of the AI revolution. Almost all the leaders and thinkers who made KnowBe4 great have left or were pushed out, which is normal with a CEO change but the folks taking on "change management" are clueless about the business and about the teams they're in charge of. The product needs to regain it's quality and customer friendly design, right now it's losing out to smaller vendors and issues are continually overlooked.
