Pros

KB4 treats it’s employees like HUMANS. We are encouraged to be our most authentic self, to put our health (physical and mental) first, to put our families first, to rest and vacation when needed. KnowBe4 values the whole, not just the value you bring as an employee. It’s a genuine environment that fosters well being. Also, the possibility for career growth is amazing. So many people are getting promoted all the time. You can do anything you set your mind to here! There’s loads of support and always room for growth. I love it here!

Cons

In the CSM department pay is lower than industry average. They say they will address it soon. But with inflation at an all time high, it can’t come soon enough. I can’t speak for other departments. Aside from base salaries that aren’t competitive, this place is amazing!

Hey Knowster! We are happy to hear there are so many aspects you love about working at KnowBe4; like our professional development opportunities, Open PTO, and overall company culture that encourages employees to be their authentic selves at work! Thank you for providing your feedback regarding salaries in our CSM department. We understand the frustrations that can come with commission-based roles. We also recognize the economy is constantly changing, which is why earlier this year in January, we provided a 5% cost of living adjustment to our employees to combat inflation, and are also offering an additional adjustment in August 2022. Additionally, we increased OTE for all CSM positions to stay competitive with current market pay. Your feedback is important to us, which is why we have immediately shared this information with our leadership team. We truly appreciate you taking the time to leave a review, and wish you the very best in your career with us!

Pros

Great office snacks, free ev charging, cool coworkers

Cons

Out of about 100 AE's only 10 hit Quota, OTE is a joke there. It's possible to hit quota if you are lucky with your inbound leads, but if you want to hit quota every month you have to do something moreso out of the box. I was trained by hard closers and have a lot of expierence with cold calls so i came up with my own script and was getting a demo a day, and was doing a demo a day. The demos did lead to sales as well, so it wasn't a waste of time. I got fired because of a "lack of professionalism" I spoke off script all the time because speaking on script leads you in to the Kool-aid drinkers club, aka not hitting quota consistently. I was fired without warning, even though I was told I had an incredible work ethic and was exceeding the ramp-up numbers. I just didnt match their sales style, they are not looking for salespeople, they are looking for sales associates. They make you work 9-hour days, 1 hour mandatory lunch that has to be taken in the middle of the day. 9-6pm. Their handbook even says you are allowed to take this lunch at 5 pm to go home sooner, but the managers never let that happen. DO NOT BE CREATIVE AT THIS JOB, DRINK THE JUICE.
