Pros

Great salary, bonus, support to learn new knowledge/skills. The work isn't difficult, not by far. It's just remembering where to click and what language the CEO wants you to use with customers.

Cons

In the UK at least, it's a remote company. The Leeds office doesn't exist yet (I left in April and it was slated for September) and the opening was pyt back int the short time I was there (apparently this has been the case for two years). The York office is open one day a week. For many people this is fine, but they weren't upfront with me when I joined about the (apparently organisation wide policy which pushes home working), which left a sour taste in my mouth. It's a "Yay! It's Monday!" type of place. Which means you have to "make it a great day" every day. They really don't want to hear about anything that's not groovy, man (as if being real that you've had a bad day will make it a toxic environment). No, it's good vibes all the way - at least on the outside with that fake smile. Finally, you should know I got fired during my probation, so you can decide if this is sour grapes or not. I was given no notice, no feedback to work on anything, and what's more... I was contacted by someone else just a few weeks after who was also fired in the same way. So don't expect them to have an adult conversation with you . On the other hand, if you are an expert mind reader, this may be the place for you.

Cons

Out of about 100 AE's only 10 hit Quota, OTE is a joke there. It's possible to hit quota if you are lucky with your inbound leads, but if you want to hit quota every month you have to do something moreso out of the box. I was trained by hard closers and have a lot of expierence with cold calls so i came up with my own script and was getting a demo a day, and was doing a demo a day. The demos did lead to sales as well, so it wasn't a waste of time. I got fired because of a "lack of professionalism" I spoke off script all the time because speaking on script leads you in to the Kool-aid drinkers club, aka not hitting quota consistently. I was fired without warning, even though I was told I had an incredible work ethic and was exceeding the ramp-up numbers. I just didnt match their sales style, they are not looking for salespeople, they are looking for sales associates. They make you work 9-hour days, 1 hour mandatory lunch that has to be taken in the middle of the day. 9-6pm. Their handbook even says you are allowed to take this lunch at 5 pm to go home sooner, but the managers never let that happen. DO NOT BE CREATIVE AT THIS JOB, DRINK THE JUICE.
