I’ve never seen such rampant workaholism in my life. People here have little to no sense of boundaries, and the ones who are rewarded seem to sacrifice their lives for their jobs. Known has a wonderful mission and aspiration, but unfortunately it ends up just being that - aspirational. Not sure if they really represent “a better way” of doing things in the agency world. Despite the company boasting integration, projects are often STILL very siloed between departments. I get the sense that everyone has been stretched thin and burned out for the past year at least. We’ve grinded long hours, we’ve watched our friends get laid off in seemingly nonstop waves, and - here’s the cherry on top - no one has gotten a bonus this year. If it wasn’t for the people, many of us would have left a long time ago.
