Pros

just glad to have a job coworkers nice and helpful decent benefits close to home they are good about time off if you request it on time.

Cons

They expect great things from their associates but it is difficult to deliver, due to of all the understaffing, hours cutting and poor communication between the managers and the floor. For example, you may be asked to cover a different department as well as your own, but you have not had training to do it so you are running around like a chicken with their head cut off half the time. Horribly messy fitting rooms. Too many different brands - too much ends up being handled so many times and then ends up on an overcrowded and unshoppable clearance rack anyway. Lots and lots and lots of waste of workers time and efforts. They make you cram credit down customers throats because they think that will keep customers coming in. They do coming in but end up returning a lot. Return policy is way way too lax. People return items that have been worn and/or outgrown.

Pros

managers can be friendly at times

Cons

Little to no training been working here for almost a year now there’s still something I don’t know every day. What was most difficult for me was being at registers as I was trained in two days by shadowing someone. There are so many situations and problems that will come up every day and you will learn something new! They never taught me about Kohl’s cash, how to read receipts, reprint or edit receipts. They schedule so little so when you do learn something there’s no chance of rehearsal because you come in three weeks later working at a different department.
