Pros
-Fast paced and ever changing environment (I started right before the shutdown so everything shifted a lot during my time) - flexible schedule & good starting pto time & retirement match (options of 401k or Roth)
Cons
-working around your store needs based off of what corporate gives you (I felt there were not enough hours allotted to schedule everyone to keep up with everything) -the part that broke me was giving performance reviews to my employees who did an amazing job & were there for many years but they were getting raises that were less than $1 per year even with great reviews. It was hard to compete & get new hires because everyone around us had a hire starting pay. When they raised the starting pay, our senior associates who have been working for many years received no increase in pay, so they were working at or just above starting pay (and I’m talking people who have been there for 20 years even)
