Friendly co-workers. Family oriented company culture. There are annual summer picnic, Christmas Party for kids. Engines has annual golf outing. Managers are supportive for training. Stable. A lot of people worked here for over 30 years.
Cons
Engines is very disorganized. Too many programs at the same time. Lack of resources to do everything right. Lack of good planning. Poor processes. People are set up for failure. The performance review process is a joke. Pay is ok if the company is doing ok. They take percentage of your pay as bonus. The bonus can be 0 or 250% depending on the year. For me, the average has not reached 100% yet. No R&D, more and more focus on cost reductions. Lack of plan for future technology advancement. The culture is very difficult to change. They want you to push from the bottom.
