Pros
PROS: - A great "foot in the door" company for new grads and beginners in the digital industry - Covered monthly socials with unlimited beer, wine, video games and snacks - A tight-knit community of like minded individuals who are actual friends in real life and go beyond work setting to build team work - Big corporate style projects exposing you to different technologies to widen your knowledge in the industry - Different clubs and activities (soccer, softball, golf, volleyball, etc.) and you are free to start your own activity given that there is demand for it To summarize, Konrad Group is a good company to start your career if you are a new grad and inexperienced; it will give you a "foot in the door" in the digital industry. In my time here, many of the employees were actual friends in real life and went beyond work setting almost every weekend to hang out. You might be the type of employee who will appreciate the office perks, such as free beer, video games, monthly socials (frat-style), and different sports activities.
Cons
CONS: - Immature management with a vertical hierarchy; uni-directional - Feedback is shutdown or ignored; no employee voice and lack of HR - Extremely high turnover with many senior people leaving and getting fired - No interest in personal career growth; you are expected to "live for the client" and do as they say (it's an agency) - Although some select few are talented, employees are industry standard, so not much to learn from each other (the environment does not really permit collaboration - you are expected to work for the client) This company is an agency, not a startup, with clients who come from mostly big companies. Thus the work won't be that much different from corporate companies - just know what you are getting into, especially if you are more of a person who wants to build a great product, not work for the client, as there is a difference. A lot of the negative reviews have been a bit unfair with their language, but at its core, it is actually true - there is no HR, turnover is really high with employees being replaced every week, and management are not leading people who prioritize personal career growth and feedback. Group think is pretty prevalent in this company and you are expected to live with it or leave. (Maybe explains why all the positive reviews here praise the talent of the company.)
