Pros

Not very many to list. Having health insurance and meeting some great people along the way were the only positives I can really take away.

Cons

If you want to work for a company where all your best efforts and hard work goes unnoticed, this is definitely the place for you. The official slogan for the company should literally be "Kroger, where nothing is ever good enough." I knew people who worked 75-80 hours per week, and upper management would still only have negative things to say to them. If I had only worked in one store and seen this behavior, I wouldn't paint a picture for the company with such a broad stroke, but I worked in about 10 different locations in different districts and everything was handled exactly the same way. And forget moving up the ladder. If you want to move into a corporate position, expect to work 80 hours driving around your district without gas mileage pay/drive time for around $55k per year. I could list many personal experiences over the time I spent here, but this neatly wraps up what you need to know.
