Pros

The patients were the best part of the job. I loved interacting with them.

Cons

It is extremely hard to advance and the pay is low, but the amount of work a patient care technician is expected to do is crazy. I took the trash out, answered the phone, called patients to check in with them, kept inventory, cleaned the clinic, assisted with physicals, managed payments, took vital signs, entered patients' medical information, and often the nurses are in a patient room much of the time while angry patients address the patient care technician who is alone at the front desk.

October-January the workload and store environment is overwhelming due to holidays Slowest time of year in the store is during the summer when its hot and days drag ob forever Lack of communication between dept as well as between store management MOD adds insurmountable tasks onto your already lengthy expected daily task assignments
