Pros

The bakery manager was a fantastic manager who kept things real and was very understanding. The store celebrations/parties were enjoyable.

Cons

I was ridiculed by a few other managers for not immediately grasping how to use a palette-lifting device and asked to do many other things that can be quite difficult for someone with autism and ADHD to get a hang of. I was extremely stressed when I was there due to the constantly changing expectations and lack of clear communication on what the standards were. I constantly had to take unpaid overtime as they told me not to take overtime but also got mad at me when I couldn't finish the monstrous amount of work before the bakery closed. Wasn't allowed to sit; my back and feet hurt so much that I couldn't do anything even on my days off. Also, I may have hearing loss due to the extremely loud work area. I will need to get that checked out, but it's been a year, so that will probably not result in anything. This work experience has made me more nervous to work. Really the only saving grace was that my direct manager was kind to me.
