      Be careful that upper management is stable.They allow new DM s to clear all existing store management staff to accommodate new personalities arriving into a dm possition.

      Pros

      If you are smart and willing to do whatever it takes, you will get promoted. If you find the right mentor, your development will be a priority. If you love retail, this is the place for you.

      Cons

      Hope you get lucky with your manager and director and VP because if you end up in the wrong department on the wrong category, the environment is toxic.
