Pros
Flex Scheduling in non-close weeks for accounting personnel, but have longer hours to compensate (more of a neutral than a pro) Pay is above average compared to similar positions in the area Ability to work from home at times due to having laptops and remote connectivity Plenty of work so job security is a non-issue
Cons
PTO is minimal - 10 days, 6 holidays Management has a tendency to micromanage No sick leave 401k match is minimal and not able to contribute til 6 months in Raises are miniscule Not nearly as much room for upward momentum as you are sold on at hire Medical benefits don't start til 3 months after hire Very corporate "follow policies" attitude even when they don't make sense - again more of an issue with management
