Long provides training, and support to its employees to help them maintain the proper level of competency to work on the new complex systems as well as the antiquated systems. There is a wealth of information from our employees, as well as from our suppliers to answer any and all questions that may arise, so we can complete our tasks with pride and knowledge. Cons
The biggest con working for Long is the weekly travel that takes you away from home. It is usually only 4 days a week, so its not as bad as some other jobs with travel involved, but it can be an issue for a family. Depending on which business group you work for, promotions can be hard to come by. Everyone has to wear multiple hats, so finding a higher role level can sometimes mean its just you working at a higher level, more responsibilities, same job.
