The people and the culture are the best reasons to work at LP Analyst. Being surrounded by people you enjoy has consistently been a part of the culture and the company has adjusted its structure to maintain this culture. Working here is a great way to start your career, as there are always opportunities to try something new and improve yourself while also doing your job. I don’t feel like I’m ever told ‘No – don’t try that’ or ‘That’s a bad idea’ I personally enjoy the constant learning aspect of the role – I have very few friends in my professional network who have a cursory understanding of private assets, so to be presented with constant ways to gain a thorough understanding is one of the best reasons to work here
Cons
In a workplace with mostly young people / people early in the careers, there are a lot of cultural challenges such as working with people who are not as passionate or career oriented as they intend to be post-college or navigating others’ expectations of professionalism A natural consequence of the company’s rapid growth is constantly feeling overwhelmed with the amount of work that can be done but not having enough time to do it – it can be hard to constantly self-motivate but good practice for mental endurance
