As a director you’ll work nearly 60 hours a week, every week. You’ll be perpetually understaffed. You can expect most of your quality employees to leave for better pay at competing centers. They do not invest in the facilities beyond the absolute minimum. Many locations are old and in disrepair. At this point, the repairs and patches all have repairs & patches on them! Pay is very low for all the skills and level of commitment/ownership they expect. For what you are working hour-wise, you earn less than an hourly employee at Target.
