Pros

The benefits are top notch - if you can make it that long to stomach the toxic environment by the time it fully kicks in... Discounted cheese - that's about to expire.. You will think the pay is good initially, until you realize the amount of hours they will expect you to work (while kicking yourself for not taking that 40hour a week job you passed on that paid less annually but gave you your sanity). As a manager, you get roped in with a nice salary which btw is the only way they could initially get talent to ever come here, but has a hard time retaining that talent, when the talent figures out on an hour for hour basis staying here, one will make way less in the long run. As far as they are concerned, salary means an endless bucket of hours that they get to use at your expense. There are opportunities (I wouldn't say career opportunities, unless you are a glutton for punishment) - due to turnover being so high at virtually every level

Cons

Too many expected hours - no family life (don't believe HR that everyone's a happy family) Large Corporation - The French have unrealistic, unattainable expectations - there is no pleasing these arrogant people. You have corporate French managers, and then you have the underling American plant managers asking how high they need to jump. Overall a toxic environment with garbage that rolls downhill to the next level. Always a head will roll instead of someone higher up taking any accountability for actions they initiated themselves. The overall employee attitudes here are demoralized - nobody is really happy to be working here, nor do they really care - just a paycheck. Very Questionable business practices - if you are a professional, seriously consider this, especially if its your name on the line, which it will be here.

Pros

I worked at the LHD division. Pros: Talented employees, strong products/business, and a culture that was once great

Cons

Cons: Significant decline in morale, trust, and employee engagement following executive leadership changes. This used to be a company that people were genuinely proud to work for. The culture wasn’t perfect, but employees felt valued, leadership was approachable, and there was a strong sense that people mattered alongside business results. Executive leadership changes began in 2025, and the shift became much more noticeable after the LHD CEO departure at the end of the year. Since then, morale, trust, and engagement have declined significantly. The culture today feels very different from the one that made many employees join and stay. Communication is less transparent, decisions feel more disconnected from employees, and there is a growing perception that executive leadership is focused on short-term objectives at the expense of the people who helped build the business. The appointments of the new CEO, US and CEO, LHD coincided with a dramatic shift in employee sentiment. Whether intentional or not, many employees have experienced these changes as a move away from the people-focused culture that previously set the company apart. There have also been broader changes across the executive team, and the organization feels increasingly centralized and disconnected from the realities of the U.S. workforce. What is most frustrating is that there are still many talented, hardworking people throughout the company. The issue is not the employees. The issue is that executive leadership has failed to preserve the culture that was once one of the organization’s greatest strengths.
