Great in Theory but Operationally A Mess - Host Landing Employee Review

Pros

-For in-market hosts, the jobs are flexible, generally easy/enjoyable and can pay decent -Fast onboarding -App for hosts is generally good, but forms could use more tuning up to provide feedback to HQ -Customer support is generally very friendly and tries to help, but not always very successfully

Cons

-Operations at the company seems non-existent to resolve issues -Communication between HQ and the apartments they work with needs improvement -HQ is non-responsive when hosts provide feedback or issues, which makes the hosts feel unvalued -Pay for jobs has decreased recently and not enough jobs in some markets to make the effort worthwhile for the hosts

- Every property has its own challenges, so you get good at problem-solving. - Team members share helpful suggestions and keep each other updated. - The benefits package is competitive. - There's plenty of independence because managers trust people to get the job done.

Cons

Weekend and holiday coverage is sometimes necessary.

None. At all. Nope. Nothing

Cons

Bad leadership, they don't know what they're doing. Morale is at an all time low, people are just waiting around to get laid off. Upper management made decisions without keeping employees informed. When something goes wrong, departments blamed each other instead of fixing the problems. The pay was low and there was almost no work life balance. Some of the company's actions seemed unethical and made it hard to trust the business. Employees were treated like they could be replaced at any time. Beware before accepting a job here because this company does not offer the stability or support that people deserve.
