It's safe. You can work there in a mediocre position for below average pay and benefits for all your life.

Lane family controls the company very tight. There is no room for creative ideas or outside in puts. Employees are looked as an expense not as an asset. There is absolutely no effort to bring diversity to the company. All of the management are "yes man" company guys who will not fight for change. Time has passed this company by. This is all too evident in there in ability to maintain their most talented employees past 2-5 years.
