Pros

-Calls aren't always back-to-back depending on the day. - Training was easy to understand, and their app was easy to use.

Cons

LanguageLine Solutions has to be, without a doubt, one of the worst companies I've ever had the displeasure of working for. The biggest and most glaring problem with this company is that they do not treat their interpreters like human beings, but rather heartless machines whose only function is to translate and nothing else. They'll constantly disable your profile for the most absurd reasons such as ''receiving too many short calls'', (something that is literally impossible to predict and control), or if you make any sort of mistakes during calls, since they expect you to translate everything perfectly 100% of the time. This being a customer service job, the calls you take can be very unpredictable and you might encounter several rude clients. When this happens, you better PRAY that a customer you translate for doesn't file a complaint against you, because Language Line will disable your profile for this as well, even if they did NOT monitor the call and thus, no real evidence exists that what the customer is complaining about actually happened. What's worse is that they never consider your side of the story, they don't consider the stress and frustration the interpreter might be feeling during the call. They only care about absolute flawless, perfect interpretations, and their precious clients. My experience here was atrocious, and I don't wish for anyone to go through what I did. It was disrespectful, inhumane, unfair, and so much more than I can write in one review. I advise you, stay far, far away from this company, because it's very clear from the moment you start working for them, that they don't see you as a person, they only see you as a tool.

Pros

Providing communications help for health care, insurance, beginning of life, end of life, counseling, IT. Among the highest minutes in the industry. Great record keeping, and pay is only 7 days after the close of every month. The annual training as well as recertification is paid events. Offers relative independence, after several audits, if you comply with excellence in customer service, you are pretty much on your own.

Cons

The minute rate is among the lower side among language companies. Find that while you can gain lots of successful advice from the company bulletin board, but offering advice is often better to those in authority.

Pros

Stay home. That's all. Nothing else.

Cons

Fifteen seconds to recover between stressful calls. The health insurance they offer is super expensive for the poorly paid for hours you get. It does not match. Micromanage everything, constant supervised and not a proper guidance after being pointed the errors of the week. Extreme poorly paid for the higher quality of job that they want. The company charges 3 or 4 dollars for minute, but an interpreter gets paid 15 an hour before taxes. See the difference? Days off unpaid always. Not fair. Not even during sickness, grief or personal emergencies.
