Pros
Loved by devs: Developers love LaunchDarkly, and it's not even close. Check out the G2 Feature Management grid. Huge TAM: Even though we have over 5000 customers, most developers out there still don't know what feature management is, which means there's a ton of room to grow. Plus, there are some exciting new areas like AI that we can dive into. And with the recent global outage caused by CrowdStrike, I think we'll see a big spike in demand for LaunchDarkly. Awesome leadership hires: About half of our top leaders, including the CEO and VPs, have joined in the past year. I get to work closely with them, and honestly, most of them are strong upgrades. It feels like we're set for some inflection in the next six months. Smart growth: LD is in a great financial spot. The mindset is to strive for efficiency while making some bold investments to accelerate growth.
Cons
Culture drag: The reality is that the new leadership team is shaking things up in a big way—bold goals, faster execution, moving out under-performers, bringing in fresh hungry talent, and more. This is causing some unease, especially for those who haven't been through a big business transformation before. Sometimes this makes us go slower than we should be going. But Dan just brought in a new Chief People Officer who seems impressive on paper (and first impressions are strong) - I’m optimistic she'll be key in helping us get over the hump and speed up this culture change.
