Pros

- For my role, low volume, and fairly easy close even though it was tight deadlines. - People seem mostly easygoing and friendly

Cons

- They just laid off over 20 people ten days before Christmas. They pay $500k a year to Nexa Equity (PE firm owners) for a "Management fee" that is really just cash extraction. Leadership team all get 30% bonuses on salaries at $250k or higher, yet they led the company into such a poor position that a RIF of almost 20% of staff was required. Shows they don't actually lead or take responsibility for their own poor performance. - Company in general just doesn't seem like it has real direction or a plan, and the PE owners hold the purse strings so tight, the funds aren't there to support anything that might work anyway. - For reference, I was hired 7 months ago, and finance positions are usually protected from RIF's since the teams already run lean, yet their forecasting and vision was so shortsighted that they couldn't predict a downturn in the construction and home improvement industry with the tariffs being implemented. Does not give confidence in their ability to lead. - They also advertise on this very page their veteran initiative; they didn't even acknowledge Veteran's Day back in Nov, further shows their fakeness.
