Pros
Some of the best coworkers I've ever worked with. The culture was initially awesome, and the remote flexibility worked well in helping me maintain a better mental health routine. I felt proud to work with such a wonderful team. And, I hope to see all of them move on to places that truly appreciate their skills and talents.
Cons
Oof, where do I even start? As mentioned by a previous employee, after reaching my 90-Day review, I was suddenly laid off along with many others. This came as shocking news because I was highly involved in many projects, had received a stellar review from my manager, and had completed a high-priority project for the CEO. Turns out, that project did little to work in my favor, and my role was seen as a redundancy and therefore eliminated. It was then revealed to me later on that the company knew they were going to be laying off people when they hired me. The CEO gambled with peoples' lives based on a deal that didn't go through, and I highly doubt he had any remorse as he sent the CFO to do all of the layoffs. Along with the disappointment that followed, I had to worked with several very incompetent coworkers who very much benefited from doing the minimum of their responsibilities. It's shocking to me that those people continue to be there all while they gut their best talents left and right. I guess the only thing I have to be grateful for is having only experienced the "light" version of the sexual harrassment that runs rampant there.
