Pros
There are some good people in junior roles and middle management. But they leave as soon as they get a sense of how things are actually run behind the curtain.
Cons
I will share the top 3 worst things I have seen happen to me or other employees: 1. In 2020, at the start of the pandemic, tons of junior and mid level employees were laid off to account for the business downturn which was going to happen. For the same year, shareholders were paid out special bonus dividends because of the record profits made by the company. 2. When I complained of gaslighting and toxic abusive behaviour from executive level employees, my manager basically told me to suck it up and take it. 3. There is a lot of marketing talk about D&I, but everyone who has been with the company for a while knows that only the old white guys get to senior level roles. Diversity is only for the bottom of the rung.
