Starting this summer, new Acute Care Medical Officers (ACMO) will join Lee Health at each of our hospitals. These physician leaders will work with a vice president of patient care services (VPPCS) to form a dyad partnership at each campus. The change to a team-based leadership structure at our hospitals is intended to drive standardization of care while building a culture of performance, quality and safety. You are right, Lee Health is on the right path. As Lee Health continues to grow and evolve, it is essential to standardize care across our hospitals. The transition to a dyad leadership structure at our campuses is part of our system-wide clinical standardization efforts.
