Pros
GCMC - Surgical PCU was a good learning environment for a new grad RN, however, it's not a sustainable environment. Culture on the unit is great. Everyone's a team player.
Cons
Consistently short staffed. Consistently receiving unsafe assignments due to increased patient acuity, but increased patient load as well. No christmas bonuses. Time and a half 3x a year.
