After 17 years in the Customer Care and Telecommunications industry across many companies. I can confidently say that LegalZoom's heart is in a healthy place. No company is perfect, and while not all organs follow the heart, luckily they are not the vital ones. Some stuff that stand out: - The people and culture are authentic, diverse and inclusive. - Benefits and perks are comprehensive. - Learning and development programs that benefit me personally and professionally. - Deliberate choices have been made as a company to improve in areas of opportunity. - Predominantly genuine interest in an individuals personal development.
Cons
The other stuff that stand out: - Career opportunities have been good in the past but lack formal training/learning paths. - While the business is still updating and modernizing. There are some areas that continue to operate with out dated technology that make work arounds permanent solutions. - Not all of Senior Management follows the roadmap provided by the Corporate Team. This may be due to a lack of accountability and/or outdated leadership skills. - Half of Management appears to be in conflict with objectives. One side striving for numbers and another focusing on people.
