Pros
I've been with LegalZoom for ~4 years and have really enjoyed the journey and my time with the organization. Below are some of the top pros: - Leadership: The leadership team has evolved over time and are genuinely kind individuals who work tirelessly to lead the organization toward success. - Employee support: This is an environment that really does reward & encourage growth & development. It is a draw for great talent and smart and hard work is recognized & rewarded. - Employee benefits: LZ has a great and comprehensive benefits offering across medical, dental, vision, leave & disability, mental health, physical health, remote work, and more that are supportive for a healthy work life balance for their employees and their families. - Coworkers & teams: I feel like LegalZoom is in a sweet spot from a company size, where it's not such a huge organization where people get lost and cultural problems seep in through hidden cracks and not so small that it feels very scrappy and 'start-up-y'. The company is in a nice middle ground where people work hard and the teams are strong and collaborate as a result!
Cons
Not much I can think of. Not being super declarative about durable priorities had caused some thrash in the past--But in the resent year or so, this seems to have dissipated as well.
