Where to start...Rampant favoritism, clueless Sales VPs (no need to worry about them anymore though as their positions were eliminated in the massive layoffs that occurred the day after Christmas), and a commercial leader who has run every good manager out of the department because of the ineffective leadership skills (and favoritism--"nothing but love"). Those who work hard are not truly valued - for example, RSMs and other managers were encouraged to provide negative annual performance reviews for the 2023 year so the company would not have to pay employees larger annual salary increases and bonus payouts. Interesting how the lower reviews happened at the end of the year, but at the mid-year reviews nothing was mentioned about performance issues. All of the leadership team is being sent to Italy for their yearly meeting but according to the company, there's no money to spend on things that are desperately needed to keep the business going. Sales associates are stretched so thin with gigantic new territories that it is only a matter of time before it will impact the business....competitors will take advantage. Business critical roles were eliminated with the reorganization and the remaining employees are left to fulfill the duties of multiple jobs. The re-org was very poorly executed and there was no communication for those remaining. There was a lot of confusion after the layoffs, no one knew who was left and this made it nearly impossible to do the day-to-day work if you were relying on deliverables from those that were let go. Some associates were given unrealistic ultimatums to keep their jobs. Morale is at an all-time low- it will take a lot of time to come back from this if it is even possible to recover. I wish I stuck around long enough to complete the annual engagement survey so I could provide this valuable feedback to the leaders who care "so much" about associates' well-being .
