Business Outlook
Pros
Good employees are treated well. Base compensation is reasonable (not great), but incentive plans, including pay for performance and long-term-incentive structure is good. With the right boss, there is a lot of flexibility to work from home.
Cons
Some extremely smart people, but Chinese culture can be difficult and cumbersome. Processes and infrastructure are inefficient to say the least. Extremely unstable environment. Industry is not doing well, stock is plummeting, and in turn, there are layoffs every six months....almost to the date. Very difficult to get promoted internally in this company. Upward mobility is dismal.
