Cons
The general management in stores is horrendous. Managers are often unprofessional when dealing with customers (if they choose to at all). Manager ignored my holiday dates during interview (which the company are required to honour) and upon contacting HR the verdict was that I never told the manager, and I was threatened with termination if I were to take said holiday. Till training is seen as a privilege, and not all employees are qualified to run the tills, proving inconvenient on busy days when there aren't enough till-trained staff in the store. Managers often gossiped about both staff and customers, bad mouthing and even shaming them for their looks etc. both in the office and on the shop floor, not caring if anyone heard them or not.
